Podere Pietreta è un grande e antico casale del '700, completamente in pietra, che recentemente è stato oggetto di un meticoloso ed appassionato restauro, realizzato conservando i particolari architettonici ed impiegando solo materiali originali.
Il podere è posto su di un colle, in una posizione di eccezionale bellezza all’interno del Parco naturale ed artistico della Val d'Orcia, dichiarato dall’UNESCO Patrimonio Mondiale dell’Umanità. Il casale, a 550 metri s.l.m., domina le colline che digradano verso la pianura: da qui si può ammirare un grandioso scenario naturale, dal Monte Cetona alle balze di San Casciano, dalla rocca di Celle sul Rigo alle pendici del Monte Amiata.
Un parco di tre ettari circonda il Podere. All’ombra di grandi querce è inserita la piscina panoramica con scala romana (mt. 6x12). A disposizione degli ospiti 3 deliziosi appartamenti – di diversa grandezza - due camere matrimoniali e una bella casa indipendente - anch’essa in pietra - appena ristrutturata; l’atmosfera è ricca di buon gusto e di calore, gli alloggi sono elegantemente arredati con mobili d’epoca, recuperati dai proprietari tra le eredità di famiglia e i casolari toscani.
Gli appartamenti sono tutti al pianoterra ed hanno entrata indipendente; per ciascuno di essi è previsto uno spazio privato e attrezzato con ombrelloni, tavolo, sedie e barbecue. Ogni appartamento è collocato su uno dei tre lati del casale assicurando agli ospiti, così, una completa privacy. Podere Pietreta is a large, old house from the eighteenth-century, entirely in stone, that was recently the subject of a careful and passionate restoration, maintaining the particular architectural qualities of the structure and using only original materials.The estate is positioned on a hill, in a position of exceptional beauty within the natural and artistic park of Val d'Orcia, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. The farmhouse, 500m above sea level, dominates the hills that slope towards the plane: from here you can admire a vast natural setting, from Monte Cetona to the cliffs of San Casciano, from the rock of Celle sul Rigo to the slopes of Monte Amiata.A park of three hectares surrounds Podere Pietreta.
